I’ve seen appear in my feed, more than once, on different platforms, arguments that Christianity, as a concept — not any particular sect, practice or denomination, but the whole thing — is ontologically evil, and fundamentally a tool for colonialism and genocide.
Ok, fine concept, well worth entertaining given the flavor of homogeny that has taken fascist movements worldwide by storm, and in the U.S. in particular.
But with such a bold claim you cannot neglect explaining how certain great reformers of history who’ve fought against the fruits of colonialism are not painted with that broad brush.
